Turning Passion Into Action!
Faith In Action of the San Gorgonio Pass: Our Story
In 2006, Faith in Action of the San Gorgonio Pass (FIASGP) began as a small, clergy based effort to help neighbors in need across Banning, Beaumont. In 2016, Local residents, faith leaders, and community advocates applied for a 501c3 status and continued local projects.
After the Covid pandemic, Carol Allbaugh, who was a volunteer at Carol’s Kitchen saw the need to offer more resources to the homeless and low-income population. At the same time, Faith in Action was leaderless and Carol asked permission to take the lead of the organization to deliver these resources.
In 2021, the organization was reborn and structured to address the social determinants of health and promoting equity across the region.
Today, FIASGP serves as a trusted bridge between vulnerable residents and the systems designed to support them. Through programs in housing stability, workforce readiness, food access, and health equity, the organization provides wrap-around services that help individuals regain stability and independence.
Through connections and securing funding , FIASGP remains rooted in community trust and powered by the belief that faith in action can transform lives.
Our Vision
The Vision of FIASGP is to eliminate poverty and homelessness in the San Gorgonio Pass region so that everyone has the opportunity to be self-sufficient and thrive.
Our Mission
